Our Training Model

The training model is an excellent one and is recognized by Governor Malloy as the best manufacturing training program in CT, if not in all of New England.

    Manufacturing principles, inspection skills, safety

    The goal in establishing the program was to give the student plenty of hands on manual projects, plus CNC programming and operation knowledge. In addition, math through trigonometry is stressed plus blueprint reading and GD&T.

  • Program Details
    Two semester programs, internship

    In addition, math through trigonometry is stressed plus blueprint reading and GD&T. Finally, safety, lean manufacturing principles, and inspection skills including CMM programming and operation are required.

    90% of AMTC students have a job before they graduate, committed to helping companies hire qualified entry level employees

    The successful graduate will arrive at a company with all the AMTC training under his or her belt and ready to continue training under a company mentor who will guide the new employee through the job specific training unique to the company.
